"My son, Carter had taken piano for 5 years prior to studying with Valerie.  My son absolutely blossomed under her guidance.  She required great technique and professionalism while still being relaxed and fun-loving.  She showed him how to enjoy the piano and work toward becoming a great musician, not just learning the mechanics of playing the piano and note reading.   She managed to motivate a 12 year old  boy which is not an easy accomplishment.  My son may have stopped taking piano lessons if he hadn’t switched to working with Valerie.  I highly recommend Valerie.
